   practically point of view, yes, i would say it is something you have to think about. BUt, quality wise, I have been using mac techs like on cooltechgadgets. info. personally, it is worth it.

   they do have some crazy programs (third party programs) that are for mac only.
   in the video and audio industry.

    Well stated…I can dig that! But trust me, the virus thing is an advantage (for me). My old Win machine had plenty of anti-virus/spyware/adware/whatever ware crap…and still $hit happended. As an IT guy I know what not to do. But, everyone has to use Windows to some degree since they’re so deeply rooted into computing culture.

Mac sucked till vista came out. vista failed, made a stink out of things, but 7 is redeeming windows, and microsoft. i dont hate apple. i love my ipod, but i use it for apps, music, and video storage, because its thin, holds 64 GB, and does what it should do.

    1. its all about asthetics.
    2. cheap and fragile hardware made and assembled in china
    3.they all look the fucking same. gay and curvy.
    4.Mac OS X is like lockdown. no ability to customise(backgrounds dont count)
    5.a majority of their components come from pc manufacturers. (sony, samsung, displays are LG.)
    6. No noteworthy software.
    7. features you call innovative are stolen from other companies (LG Prada, dell dock, dell datasafe)

    ur so clueless its hilarious. the mac doesnt make the graphics. the screen does. secondly, DELL DOCK is the same as the launcher. and it was available first. third of all, time machine is called dell datasafe backup. now u gotta realise, a person on welfare could buy a mac with their check. theyre not expensive. and dell studio xps is the current generation. face it. ipad is a fail, and apple is failing at wowing people. so theyre losing money. its simple. 95% of the WORLD prefers pc.

    I havent had one Virus on windows, I don’t see the whole no virus thing to be an advantage unless you’re a complete retard and like to click on “amgz we sell cheap shit u buy fur cheap k”. I’ll have you know I dont HATE macs, I just hate this argument between macs and windows. As I do prefer windows and believe it has more capability, Macs seem to be more user friendly to un-computer-educated people. Anyhow; Mac is not better than windows. Windows is not better than mac. They are just DIFFERENT.

    OK…I’ll take it easy on you. The only time I use windows is at the office, cause they’re too damn cheap and lazy to buy Macs. Dude, every single windows OS becomes more and more Mac-like. The $hit you’re discovering now…I’ve been doing for years…LMFAO! I deal with resource intensive applications that a Mac Mini handles better than a power PC. Windows has it’s place…it’s called 2nd! Not one virus since I switched. Don’t mistake Wow for “reliability”.

MACS ARE NOT EXPENSIVE.     how much is a mac? they start at 1200. how much is my personalised dell studio xps with an i7 processor, 8gb ram, ati radeon hd 4850 w/ 512 mb gddr3 memory, 1tb hard drive, a 24″ oled backlit display, and windows 7 home premium? 1500. its not money bro. i love it how if a person doesnt like an apple product, its because they can’t afford one. grow up. i dont like macs, because i actually work on a computer. i dont just check email, and use the webcam. even though i do that as well.

    Seems like a decent product, I think Apple have raised the standard so high their finding it hard to reach them heights everytime.

    Its the best attempt so far at the need for bigger screen size than the smart phone but more mobile than the netbook.
