  1. Apple and Microsoft are after the same thing. Money. So it doesnt matter what you buy; your still helping those money hungry companies.

  2. a netbook without a decent OS. Even windows 3.1 could run apps in the background with a 233Mhz processor

  3. guys…. his whole point is basically about they’ve made some sort of a netbook which you can use to call… imagine you can call someone using your laptop…

  5. umm… it’s a big iphone.

  6. I agree!!!

  7. i dont get why they came out with it AFTER christmas. lol

  8. What is the program of the effect of 2 parts in the screen (jobs – iPad) Sorry for my bad english, i’m spanish and i not speak this language :$

    //

Por favor, alguien me puede decir cómo se llama el programa que hace que la pantalla se divida en dos partes? En una sale una persona presentando el producto y en la otra parte el producto en acción.

Es muy urgente, gracias de antemano!

  9. Nokia makes and ships more cell phones in one month than Apple makes and ships in one year, and Symbian S60 has Flash support.

  10. I had no idea netbooks were supposed to be better than laptops. So that’s why they’re cheap, they’re for poor people! Thanks for reminding me I am part of the proletariat Mr. Jobs! (written on a two year old HP tablet)

  11. Get the new apple iPad at f r e e i p a d i n fo . Ne t

Just enter in your zip code.

  12. just google Apple, Adobe and you’ll realize that it’s Adobe that has dropped support years ago for Mac, then started going Windows exclusive and bumping Apple to the curb, not the other way around. Once Final Cut Pro started to compete with Adobe they started to distance themselves from Mac support.

Yet, if you read the spin from Adobe, they are innocent little lambs and it’s a lie. Adobe is just becoming another M$ shill job.

  13. @StraightShooter01 funny Steve Jobs just showed the iPad viewing HD videos. iPad is about ebook revolution, digital media and iBooks etc. The flash issue doesn’t seem to be stopping the iPod, iPod Touch and iPhone from dominating all the competition now does it? i thought not.

iPad is about ebook, iBook revolution and print media finding a new place in the digital world.

Go back to the human cattle Monopolysoft pasture you came from.

  14. I just got a new ipad at F r e e ipad info (dot) net

    Just enter your zip code.

  15. check out my ipad spoof on my channel :]

  16. I predict over half the sales if not more will end up being returned simply because the web as they know and love simply cant be displayed on this device. Not sure what they were thinking not supporting Flash content but there are going to be a LOT of pissed off customers that realize that most of the sites they visit is going to have empty dialog boxes indicatiing Flash required. This is going to be fun to watch.
Ill waiit for the HP Slate, Win7 & unlimited internet, multitasking, etc

  17. With no support for Flash content on the web – you simply wont have access to over 70 million websites that currently use Flash for their content delivery (YouTube, CNN, NYTimes, Facebook, Hulu, to name few this device simply will display an empty box indicating Flash required) Litigation is already underway sueing Apple for false or misleading advertising (videos showing this device displaying Falsh content when it doesnt) Apple would rather charge you for media that others get for free.

  18. If my needs just were surfing the web, watching movies, looking at pictures and changing my backround i would buy a 1,5 pound oversized ipod touch.

  19. Now your going somewhere everyone else has just been complaining about it in general maybe a better software would be better.

  20. Jobs is betting on the stupidity of The People…
Too stupid to download our own apps…
    Too stupid to multi-task…
So stupid that we won’t realize this greedy SOB denies a major component of The Web (Flash) so he can maximize his profits in the iStore (or whatever he fleeces The Sheep with).

  21. u suck dude………NI SIKIERA TIENE FLASH!!! COMO PUEDE DECIR ALGO ENTRE UN PHONE Y UNA LAPTOP CUANDO NO SOPORTA LO MAS IMPORTANTE DE UNA LAPTOP!!!! “FLASH” DUHH, NI CAMARA Y TAMPOCO PORTS PARA USB Y TAMBIEN DUDO KE CONTENGA UNA GRAPHICA MUY BUENA COMO PARA CORRER JUEGOS COMO EN UNA LAPTOP….LO MAS KE PUEDE LOGRAR ES CORRER LAS APPS DE LA APPLE STORE =P

  22. Allrite Dude but if u are going to use it just for reading then u wont just need this!!! u will also need to carry a laptop to transfer the files from digital format to this “BIGPOD” =] cus this thing has NO USB PORT NOR SD PORTS NOR NOTHING!!! I WONDER IF IT COMES WITH WI-FI? OHH and to add a bit more Apple’s Bluetooth doesnt support file transferring, so this its really useless =] sorry to disappoint you but this time APPLE just didnt make it =]

Completed unsolicited and worthless random fact:
On 15 April 1912 the SS Titanic sunk on her maiden voyage and over 1,500 people died. Fourteen years earlier a novel was published by Morgan Robertson which seemed to foretell the disaster. The book described a ship the same size as the Titanic which crashes into an iceberg on its maiden voyage on a misty April night. The name of Robertson’s fictional ship was the Titan.
