  1. For the iPad

    HTML5 = FTW!!!
    Flash = WTF??

  2. ipad worth it if you already have iphone 3gs?

  3. oooo Pages looks nice :D
    ……the iPad looks nice!!!!!!!

  4. @maconlinedk i have a question, why is flash so crappy? What exactly does it do to make sites sluggish?

  5. Angie, as JRF said, it has FileSharing. But I think he didn’t make it exactly clear if it does import word documents.

    The answer is YES. It can import Word documents and/or save it as both a Pages document or a Word 2007 (or more recent) one.

  6. Lol the usage of Flash in websites are only by sluggish developers. Flash is a piece of crap software. Just use valid jquery, css, and xhtml.

    Glad to see Flash is GONE

  7. 90%? That’s weird, because I barely see sites with flash, only cappy web devs use it, for god sake it’s full of problems, full sites designed with flash are the worst thing ever done.

    It’s useful for crappy games tough.

    Flash needs to die, it’s bigger use is for videos, and since youtube is already supporting html5, it won’t be long.

  8. That’s what steve want you to think, html5 can substitute flash for video but flash is used in 90% of websites for creating menus, animations, forms, etc, etc

  9. Ehm… you know youtube is supported right? Using h.264, soon both Vimeo and youtube will be fully html5, and many sites will follow, not need for flash.

    Flash sucks.

    –From a Linux user.

  10. Not strictly so. . . if you have a youtube account you can set it to HTML 5 and voila you can watch this video. The feature is in beta at the moment. Even youtube sees the beginning of the end for flash only sites

  11. I don’t know about iPhone–don’t have one, won’t get one–but there WILL BE NO flash on the iPad; if you saw it on the iPhone, you probably watched using a different, proprietary, not-available-for-everything format

  12. Yes you can watch this video, I just did on my iPhone, in fact not only can you watch videos on youtube using the iPad, but you can do so in Hi definition.

  13. Get a Free iPad, but hurry before they run out, at b e s t f r e e ipad (dot) com
    Just enter you zip code

  14. ironically, you won’t be able to watch this video on it… (no flash allowed)

    –Apple iNazi

  15. Probably yes, just like on an iPhone/iPod Touch.

  16. Get Apple I-Pad for FREE!

  17. can you cpy and paste from the net

  18. @17Angie03
    Yes. It has file sharing.

  19. ok, if i buy pages for the ipad, can I just import word documents from my pc to the ipad, edit it, and save it again as word document and import it too my pc?

Completed unsolicited and worthless random fact:
The Andy Griffth Show was the first spin-off in TV history. It was spun-off from the Danny Thomas Show.
