@burubura 3G is the high speed cellular data network that allows mobile devices to have internet access anywhere they have phone reception.

@Julienofthegods One for the April 3rd launch, and another from the April 30th 3G launch.
July 19th, 2010 - 02:16
Why the fuck do you have 2 ipads
July 19th, 2010 - 02:30
if that was your upload speed i would be like wow
July 19th, 2010 - 03:13
@DetroitBORG It’s great! The apps are in HD which I really like and if you’re familiar with the iPod touch, usage will be very easy. It’s easy to get used to anyway, but i definitely recomment it. I wish i had gotten the 32GB to save some money cause the apps are about the same size as the iPod touch apps and I’ve only used like 10GB. I thought the apps would be bigger since theyre in HD.

@riveras1990 Well, I can’t use the iPad via the iPhone’s 3G unless I jailbreak and use the iPhone as a Wireless Hotspot (iPad can’t tether via bluetooth or USB).
July 19th, 2010 - 05:09
Can’t you just use your iphone for 3g service instead of the ipad 3g? saves you bucks?

@AnTiHeRo562 The 3G speeds also depend on your local AT&T network.
As for capacity, i only need the large capacity becaue of all the HD Video Podcasts I subscribe to, and all the photos I load on it (Amateur Photographer). I generally don’t use it for music.

well of course the wifi is going to be faster, but 3g is actually really good because you can be anywhere and be online which i i like, i can’t wait to get my ipad at the end of the month, i’m only getting a 16 gig because i don’t even use that many gigs, when i have an ipad i don’t have no more than like 500 songs anyways
July 19th, 2010 - 07:15
@steelerfan310 I always recommend the 3G ipad over Wi-Fi only because it at least gives you the option to subscribe to a 3G service. It also gives you a GPS antenna which works better with some apps.
July 19th, 2010 - 07:30
so would any one recommend the 3g iPad over the regular WiFi iPad?
July 19th, 2010 - 07:52
@00YsoSerious00 Excellent, I bet you’re having a fun weekend
July 19th, 2010 - 08:06
@smil8888 Of course, that’s why I ran the speedtests at the front of the video so viewers know what I’m working with.
July 19th, 2010 - 08:41
No to be an asshole, but this test shows nothing, only your internet speed vs 3g speed/connection
July 19th, 2010 - 09:09
i just got my 3g 64gb ipad today
July 19th, 2010 - 09:18

@DetroitBORG But here in Ireland ,we have a fairly good 3G/HSDPA network and where i live is fairly rural and i get 5mb-6mb download and 1mb-2mb upload with latency of around 40ms-60ms
