    well ive benn waiting for this as i wanted a kindle dx for christmas but decided to wait and now for around 20 dollers extra i can get a device which i can listen to music watch video and play games…it may be the same as a ipod touch but would you honestly watch a full film on a small ipod screen….
    if apple went the other way and created a full touch like laptop people would complain about the price because it would have to be around 1000 dollers lol…..what do you expect????

    all the games u mentioned are available on Steam

    I’ve owned a MacBook for 2.5years now and I’ve used the DVD drive once to install snow leopard and maybe 2 or 3 times to burn a disk. (which I could have easily done on my desktop PC)

    Mobile devices don’t need optical drives. Especially devices like the iPad which are not meant to be your only computer.
