These screen protectors work pretty well for me and will fit the iPhone 3G and 3GS. If you look at them at an angle, there is a little bit of a “rainbow” effect… the way it’s refracting light. I doubt most people would even notice it. Like all screen protectors, these are a bit hard to put on without getting bubbles and dust under the screen. I liked that there were two tabs on these that make them a bit easier to properly line up and stick onto the iPhone Screen. The included wipes and squeegee helps too. I found that these are comparable to the Case-mate brand screen protectors I usually buy… but these are a better value. The frustration-free packaging is a plus too.
Conclusion:
These iPhone screen protectors are of high quality and are at a reasonable price. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more of these. When they’re on the phone, you can’t tell there’s even a screen protector on it. They’re a bit challenging to put on… but all of the screen protectors out there are like that. I added a tip section to help you with the process if you’ve never done it before. It will hopefully help you minimize messing up on placing them on your iPhone.
Tip: To help line up the screen protectors perfectly and stick them on without bubbles, here’s a method I’d like to share… because it’s quite frustrating to do it wrong and waste screen protectors in the process. So here’s the way I like to do these: To line up the screen protectors properly, lay it flat onto the iphone screen (with the sticker tabs still in place). Once you have it lined up along the edges perfect, tape the bottom of it (with scotch tape) to bottom of the phone. This helps keep it lined up. If you do this properly, you should have a “hinge” created by the tape. Now, completely remove the bottom mask ( So that the sticky side is now completely exposed)… but keep the top tab/mask intact. Now while holding the top sticker tab, you can slowly squeegee the screen protector onto the iphone screen (bottom side of phone first… working your way up to the top of the iphone)

Easy to install, nice feel, and protects the iPhone nicely. I only need to see how long this will last with usage. Most other screen protectors get foggy over time and don’t prevent the iPhone from getting scratched—so time will only tell for this one. But right now, I would recommend this product.

I wanted a screen protector that covered my entire iPhone face, not just the screen. This one from AmazonBasics works great. I really like it. The kit comes with three screen protectors, instruction manual, plastic squeegee to remove bubbles upon application, and a cleaning cloth.
I have to acknowledge that the installation process took two tries; but it wasn’t that bad for me. I did as the instruction said and removed tab #1 , then placed the screen protector face down so tab #2 was facing up. Then I squeegeed and removed. But, the whole thing just lifted up on the first try, not sure what happened. So I tried again and it worked! It probably took about 5 minutes.
Once the protector fit it’s gorgeous! I love that it’s kind of thicker than the other ones I’ve had, it feels kind of vinyl. I really feel like my iPhone is protected. My only other concern was slipping my iPhone back in it’s case: AmazonBasics Shell-Case for iPhone 3G, 3GS (Red/Black). Since the screen protector covers the entire face I had to carefully slide the case over the phone for fear I would tear it, but it’s pretty strong, no problem, it gives the case a very snug fit that won’t fall apart.
One small concern is the clarity of the screen. It’s difficult to describe, but it doesn’t have that glass crystal clear look that only a clean screen has. I’ve used other screen protectors that were less thick (more like a thin sticker) and the screen was still very clear. Here you do notice a difference, but it’s really minor and you adjust, so still worth it to me.

Very thick screen protector that also offers some anti-glare assistance. Very comparable to name brand offerings from the local stores. But the price is certainly right. You get 3 protectors. They are made well and protect well. They do add a very faint tint to the screen. I suppose this is due to the anti-glare feature. The anti-glare works well in most cases, but I have found that it does not suit well for direct light exposure. It actually made things worse than some of the standard protectors in some direct light conditions. Compared to some standard protectors I’ve used, it spread the light throughout the screen rather than spotlight areas. Directions are thorough enough. It can take a few times to get it placed correctly, but there are plenty of tricks online to help with that.

The stickers they have for seperating the film from the backing you can’t remove it from the protective sheet after the product is on your phone. Leaves white mess you can’t remove. You can’t get all the “bubbles” out. These are the worse protectors I have every purchased. I am surprized and disappointed. I thought the amazon product would be good. I will NEVER purchase these products again…and will think twice before purchasing another amazon product.
