god damn tea baggers would never support because it is a “government take over”, Bull shit, dont they know what OPTION means??
April 23rd, 2010 - 17:55
And I care why? It’s the same story as Tom Eagleton. As long as he can faithfully serve then his mental problems are not.
April 23rd, 2010 - 18:38
Some people just need to be slapped.
April 23rd, 2010 - 19:26
@TheBladeGamer
Victimizing people with violent assaults
are not mistakes! When you attack someone it’s on purpose It just shows his character
as a person!
April 23rd, 2010 - 19:43
Haha Grayson watches TYT and favorited lots of their videos. Hopefully more congressmen do the same.
April 23rd, 2010 - 19:56
Grayson is a FIGHTER…Love this guy!
April 23rd, 2010 - 20:30
@Zendrig
Nicely said.
Maybe the Republican saying, in regards to the US troops, should be:
“Support the troops, unless they get sick!”
April 23rd, 2010 - 21:16
@talllikelurchis That may be true, I don’t have the time to look it up, don’t care to. It doesn’t matter how many stupid mistakes he makes in his personal life, what matters is what he does for the country. Bush was addicted to cocaine, Laura Bush killed someone by purposely running a stoplight. Why don’t you use that against the people you support? EVERYONE makes mistakes, and saying that government figures aren’t allowed to make mistakes in their life is like denying that they’re human beings.
April 23rd, 2010 - 22:12
this is GREAT but with people like Nelson & Libberman this will never happen.
I think the republicans are never ever going to represent us so i didnt try to mention them!!!!!!!!!!
April 23rd, 2010 - 22:27
when Grayson had just turned thirty and while working for the Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson law firm, he spent time in the Psychiatric Institute of Washington. What the cause of this stay ,Grayson was extremely combative with fellow employees, including slapping a female intern in the face.
April 23rd, 2010 - 22:46
YouTube notified me that RepAlanGrayson just favorited this video.

I could definitely live with your idea on medicare, and I understand the single-payer will never stand a chance in our congress being it’s mostly controlled by corporations already and only set to get worse especially with the supreme court on their side with the free speech ruling. Innovation and research are about the only reasons to keep health care partially private, but as for majority control, private it should not be. Libertarians. lol They represent less people than my man Nader.
April 24th, 2010 - 00:13
This dude should run for president. He’s a democrat with balls, such a rare thing.
April 24th, 2010 - 01:13
Ok, I can see how my response could seem a little polemic. For that I apologize. But I don’t see how my question was out of nowhere because you specifically wrote: “i dont think u understand why we fought the cold war and against socialism for so many years”
Now let me ask you: Does your apparent aversion to socialism (whatever that is) also make you reject social security? And if so, aren’t you lumping together two different things here?
April 24th, 2010 - 01:28
zendrig
i appreciate the sharing of information but ur question of “why did you fight the cold war” came out of nowhere. then, with ur next response, u say i favor sending people to war. dude, please, if u want to have a legitimate conversation, im game. if u truly want to understand a different point of view, i will share it with you. if you only want to make accusations and trap me into arguments which u already have the answers for, please chat with someone else. thank you
April 24th, 2010 - 01:57
So let me get this right: You’re in favor of sending people to WAR, but you think it infringes upon their liberties if they paid a tax to provide HEALTHcare for themselves and their fellow countrymen? Whatever happended to charity and patriotism? btw: There was a brilliant commentary this week on the BBC: “This healthcare plan, which European countries would reject because it’s far too conservative and right-wing, is somehow considered ‘socialistic’ in the US.” You’re successfully indoctrinated.
April 24th, 2010 - 02:49
I think health care should be a constitutional right, but it’s not, not in the US. We live in the “beacon of capitalism” in the US, and the idea of single payer will scare/anger many libertarian types(on the left and right).
I think the best option is opening medicare at going rate for all under 65. There is a place for private industry in health care, innovation.
April 24th, 2010 - 03:34
It wouldn’t happen with that attitude no, most Americans are clueless on what they’re missing with single-pay. If you’re talking an actual vote of the people, it would pass overwhelmingly, I’d say at least 70%, but if you’re referring to a congressional vote, none of the republicans would vote yes, about half of the democrats would vote no being they’re indebted to the corporate world as are the republicans. As for thousands of private jobs being lost, what’s new? Our health is not a business!
April 24th, 2010 - 03:59
for many reasons, one of which was the liberty of the common man
April 24th, 2010 - 04:34
@calimar28
Here’s an idea, stop fighting pointless wars in pointless places and use that money to fund universal healthcare for all.
April 24th, 2010 - 04:44
agreed
April 24th, 2010 - 05:13
So why did you fight the cold war?
April 24th, 2010 - 05:49
Sure, but atleast the people would vote for what they thought was right. Politicians generally don’t know squat except made up financial bull and then they vote accordingly to what big business wants, so it’s a lose-lose.
April 24th, 2010 - 06:26
Big PROPS! for Grayson and those who have the means and the courage to stand for factual truth. As for comments directed at the president where are links to your national (or otherwise) organizations for the Public Option or single payer like the ones he created and / or supports? Please don’t respond lopsided biased rhetoric that dismiss that and the fascist oligarchy with whom he must deal.
Point: His accomplishments and ours provide prevents killing the planet with deregulation,
April 24th, 2010 - 07:24
“it would be better if we voted on issues rather than people”
It would be better only if the majority of people had ANY clue about the topic (which is highly questionable in the US if you believe the statistics and surveys considering topics of basic education).
