   * Maxwell is an R&B singer that should’ve won a Grammy like 10 years ago, but actually he didn’t write the song so your question would be ”who the ffffff…is Hod David and Musze?”, lol
   * Empire State of Mind wasn’t elegible this year (it’ll be in 2011), but anyway it will not win cuz the Grammys ain’t ready yet to give one of their big four to a rap/sung collaboration.

    Just because somebody listened to a song and payed attention to it does not mean that they act a certain way. Sure there’s a correlation b/w culture and music, but some white ppl listen to rap, and some black people listen to country. Your argument holds no ground.

    My direct reply was A) Some older people can relate to TS, and B) That Taylors songs are for just as many people as Beatles.

    I don’t think listening to a song and going after young men have anything at all to do with each other. idk why you are so upset about taylor swift, she is a high profile singer, her talent is desired by many, and whether or you personally agree, the fact that she sells out concerts with 200-400 dollar tickets really says something about how meaningful her music is to “some” people.     Did this not start w/ you asking me if it TS level of writing mattered. I answered no, and provided a warranted analogy to back up my answer of “no”. You then proceeded to attack me on my use of the Beatles, even though i made absolutely no statement concerning my actual opinion of the Beatles (or even TS for that matter). Any opinions I may have made about them, were made after that point.

    Dude, you did freak out, even to that very last comment you are still accusing me of saying things that i did not say. I never said that TS and the Beatles were on the same level, I said that it’s okay to write simple songs, and used the Beatles as a reference. That does not mean that I am saying they are on the same level, it just means they have a similar characteristic.
    Just because something is nostalgic, does not mean that it is better IMO, but you seem to think otherwise.
