Notice that at the end of the movie, society tries to make Robert Ford look like the bad guy when really he was just trying to end all of the gnarled confusion by killing Jesse. And how do people react “i was expecting an applause” – Robert Ford, when really he ended up getting a shot gun to the face. Revenge, says the man? Wrong, it was murder.
